Roviso (“I”, “me”, or “my”) is operated by a sole proprietor based in Germany. I take data protection seriously and follow all requirements under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and how it is protected.

By using Roviso, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

2. What data do I collect?

a) Account information


  • Email address

  • Password (securely hashed and never visible to me)

b) Project and file data


When you use Roviso, you may upload:


  • animations

  • assets

  • product sheets

  • rendered files

  • project settings


These files are stored securely on servers in Germany and used only to provide the functionality of the platform.

c) Login & session cookies


Roviso uses essential cookies only, including:


  • session cookies (to keep you logged in)

  • security cookies (to protect your account)


No advertising cookies are used by Roviso.

d) Usage analytics


I use Google Analytics to understand general usage patterns.

Analytics data is anonymized and does not identify individuals.

3. What data do I NOT collect?


I do not:

  • track personal behavior beyond basic anonymized analytics

  • build user profiles

  • sell or share data with advertisers

  • access your projects unless you explicitly request help

  • store unnecessary personal information

Roviso is designed to collect only what is needed to provide the service.

4. How is your data used?

Your data is used strictly for:

  • creating and managing your account

  • storing your animations, projects, and assets

  • rendering your outputs

  • providing support upon request

  • improving the platform

  • processing payments via Stripe (when applicable)

Legal basis:


Processing of personal data is carried out under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, which allows processing necessary for the performance of a contract.

5. Where is your data stored?


All data is stored on AWS servers located in Germany, ensuring:

  • GDPR compliance

  • high security standards

  • EU-based processing

6. Do you share data with third parties?


Only essential providers required to operate Roviso:

  • AWS – hosting and secure file storage

  • Stripe – payment processing

    All payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe. Roviso never receives or stores credit card details.

  • Google Fonts – fonts used during editing and rendering

  • Google Analytics – anonymized usage data

These providers act as GDPR-compliant processors.

Roviso does not sell data or share data with advertisers.

7. How long is your data kept?


  • Files and projects remain stored until you delete them

  • Deleted items are irreversibly removed and cannot be recovered

  • Regular cleanup routines remove residual files automatically

  • When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently erased

  • No deleted data is kept, cached, or archived

8. How can you delete your data?


At any time, you may delete:

  • files

  • assets

  • projects

  • your entire account

Once deleted, your data cannot be restored.

This includes cleanup cycles and backup systems.

9. Your GDPR rights


You have the right to:

  • access your data

  • correct your data

  • delete your data

  • request a copy of your data

  • restrict or object to processing

  • withdraw consent

10. International availability


Roviso is available globally.

However, all data processing occurs in Germany under strict EU GDPR protection, regardless of where you access the service from.

11. Age restrictions


Roviso is not intended for individuals under the age of 16.

I do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Changes to this policy


If this Privacy Policy changes, the “Last updated” date will be revised and the new version will be published on this page.

13. Suspicious or harmful activity


To maintain a safe environment, I may immediately restrict or suspend access to any account without prior notice if there is reasonable suspicion of:

  • attempted reverse engineering

  • unauthorized access

  • copying or stealing other users’ content

  • fraudulent or abusive behavior

  • illegal activity

  • interference with the platform

  • actions harming other users or the integrity of Roviso

In these cases, certain account information may be temporarily retained to investigate the situation and prevent further harm.

After resolution, all non-essential data will be deleted according to this Privacy Policy.

14. User responsibility for uploaded content


Users are fully responsible for all materials they upload, including animations, images, videos, audio, and fonts.

I do not review or monitor uploaded content and assume no liability for illegal, copyrighted, harmful, or unauthorized materials uploaded by users.

If I become aware of violations, the account may be suspended or restricted immediately without notice.

Users must ensure they have full rights to all content they upload.

15. Account suspensions and refunds


If an account is suspended due to:

  • suspicious activity

  • harmful behavior

  • illegal content

  • policy violations

  • security concerns

no refunds are issued for any remaining subscription period.

Paid fees apply only during compliant usage.

Suspended accounts are not eligible for compensation or credits.

16. User liability for damages


Users are responsible for any damages, losses, or legal claims arising from their misuse of the service.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • uploading illegal or copyrighted content

  • actions that harm other users

  • disruption or manipulation of the platform

  • fraudulent activity

  • behavior that results in financial loss, legal exposure, or technical damage

Users agree to fully compensate any related costs, fees, or damages incurred by Roviso or its owner.
